Thread Treatments
Thread Lift and Mono Threads
Thread lift and mono threads are minimally invasive procedures that use specialized threads to tighten and lift sagging and wrinkled skin. The threads stimulate collagen and elastin production to the treatment areas which results in improved firmness and texture. Treatment areas include jowls, cheeks, eyebrows, neck, forehead, smile lines, under eye area, and body.
Thread Lift
How does it work?
A thread lift is a non-surgical alternative to the traditional facelift surgery and requires only local anesthesia, making it a procedure with minimal downtime. Threads are inserted into the desired area using a small needle, then they are pulled to lift the skin. The threads are then anchored into place to provide support and keep the skin lifted. The threads used in this procedure are made of the same materials as surgical stitches, which gets absorbed by the body after 6-12 months. During this time the body reacts by increasing collagen and elastin production as a healing response to the threads, which over time helps improve the skin’s texture, firmness, and overall appearance while keeping the skin lifted.
